30 days of happiness - day 29
Happiness is:
Eagle. Hawk. John Denver, a 12 string guitar and a song touched by Spirit. Call me a nerd if you want to, but I just love John Denver. So many good ones - Rhymes and Reasons, Sweet Surrender, Calypso, Windsong, Rocky Mountain High... it all makes me happy, but this is my favorite, I always get completely "blissed-out" when I hear it...

THanks! His music definitely touches something in me -- something timeless and ageless and eternal (I think those are all the same thing, but not, ya know!) My favorites are Annie's Song and Sunshine on my Shoulder!
ps Cat Stevens has the same effect on me!!
I remember a concert he did at the Appollo Vic in London in early '80's, just Denver and his guitar. It was wonderful, he came over as so open and honest about his life and work.
I still have the concert in my private collection DVD. I think Denver was at his best when "intimate" only one guitar for accompanyment.
Hi Mark, thanks for your comments. I wish I could have seen him live in concert. I have such fond memories of watching his tv specials and listening to his albums as a kid.
