You Just Grew

I didn’t plant you
You just grew
Whispering to me softly
Saying: Look at what is True

Thank you for my blessings
As they flow to me
Heaven is here upon this Earth
If we only look and see

And every seed I’ve planted
Comes right back to me
In unexpected times and places
Showing all that life can be

I was inspired to write this poem today after I found these volunteer lovelies growing out of the gravel behind the back woodpile. I hope you enjoy it.

Wishing everyone a blessed day!

Kathleen, I think that is one of the loveliest poems I have ever read! Truly inspired, thank you for sharing it.

That is the most exquisite poem! I feel exactly the same way when I see all the volunteers that pop up around my garden bench, but the most I could ever think to say about them was "cool"!

:0) Made me smile. I had the same thing happen with sunflowers last year. The birds must have dropped some seeds and they grew in all their glory right out of the gravel. Of course I left them there ;0)

Kathleen!

Thanks for sharing your inspiration with us!

Isn't it amazing where plants can end up growing? Such resilient creatures, aren't they?
