Old photos of bliss...

I finally got around to scanning some old photos today. Who the heck is this kid? Lol, that's me at my aunts house with a friend I made there. I just love looking at old photos, (even if they're of people I don't know. Is that weird?)

My great grandpa and me at his farm.

Me on our little farm. I think I was about nine here. I was always surrounded by critters - cats, dogs, chickens or goats...to me that was pure bliss. (Can you tell?) To this day this is one of my favorite pictures of me.


Look at this! My father in the '40s with what looks to be a litter of Rat Terrier pups!!! :-)

One of my favorite old photos ever - My great grandpa (left) at his farm leaning against a fence that he built. I really love this picture, it just screams "Good Ole Days!"

    I love looking at these old photos Kathleen! (I can relate completely to that state of childhood bliss) - My great grandparents had tons of cats and I always loved playing with the kittens. The one of you on the pony is very cute too!

    Hi Kathleen,

    I enjoyed looking at your old pictures. I especially liked the one of your dad and the litter of Rat Terrier pups. Didn't every farm have a Rattie in the olden days? My mom had a pony when she was little too!

    I love looking at old photos, too. I lived on a farm, and was animal crazy, so our photos look very similar in some ways--little girls surrounded by their animal friends!

    Those are fantastic photos...I like looking at old photos too like you...even if I don't know who they are. But, it makes it all the better when you do know who they are.

    Your great grandpa seemed like such a kind gentleman. You are very lucky to have gotten to know him!

    So, now we know where the love of Ratties came from?!? Isn't that funny?
