I had to say goodbye to my dear old friend last night. Benny was going on 15 and had a good long life. He died in my arms at home. It feels so empty without him here.
Rest easy, Benny Bean. I hear there is unlimited steak and cookies at the Rainbow Bridge. I miss you so much, Old Man. I will always love you.
This is so hard.

Cloud has been such a comfort to me, giving me lots of extra cuddles. He's so sensitive...he seems sad too.

Oh, poor you! I am so sorry, as a dog owner myself I know how tough this is.
I know how you feel and I am really sorry. It's like a little piece of your heart breaks off and goes with them. I've had a lot of dogs and have lost alot of dogs and it never gets easier. Benny was lucky to have you as his owner.
He looked like a very happy dog and I know he had a great life with you.
What a beautiful boy he is! He looks so happy & contented in those pics hon, like he's had a fantastic life with you & loved every minute!
I'm shedding a tear for you here & giving Nimh that extra biscuit & cuddle...coz life is too bloody short!

I am so sorry to hear of you loss.. these dogs become a part of us. I know how hard it is...But I do believe with all of my heart that they never truly leave us.

Benny certainly was a grand old fellow wasn't he. He looks like he was very secure in his position and I'm sure he was pleased with his life. I'm so very sorry for your loss. I know how much it hurts to lose our beloved friends. You were there and held him when he needed you most. Be comforted by that.
